With all that is happening the our world today, the war, the sagging economy, steadfast thinking becomes more difficult. What is steadfast thinking? It is staying focused in the moment, not wandering into a pattern of thinking that is wrought with worry and fear. Worry is fear. When we worry, we are not trusting in the universe’s ability to take care of us. It is challenging, especially when things are falling apart all around us, to keep our thinking straight; but it is essential not only for our mental health, but our physical health as well. Energy that is fearful, negative, and worrisome can become trapped if not released. If enough negative energy is not released, we will end up with aches, pains and illnesses. Then we wonder why we are sick. The beginning of our physical health is steadfast thinking. There is never a reason to worry. It is really that simple. We simply must trust. Trust in ourselves, in the goodness of the universe to provide for all of our needs. When we go through challenging times, we must remember that there is a strengthening that comes from our struggle. We must be grateful for this. A grateful heart overcomes negativity, fear, etc. When we find ourselves going to the dark side of thought, it is helpful to take a break in our thinking or what we are physically doing at any given moment. Think of something that makes you happy, and pretty soon, you will discover that you feel much better!
