When we shift the focus of our consciousness to one that is more accepting of what others around us are doing in the moment, we find others act more positively toward us.  Basically, expectations have no place in the new shift of consciousness.  Of course this shift in consciousness is a process, which cannot be found by thinking one’s way there.  It is a very feeling process, and the first step is merely observing ourselves and being aware that how we have been interacting with those we love (and others) has not been working for us.  If you are in a place of constant conflict with others and feeling sad and depressed a lot, this may be something you need to think about how to shift your life to a more positive track.  This can be difficult for various reasons.   Sometimes (especially if we are more cerebral) it can be challenging to get in touch with our feelings.  Another reason that we may not be able to get in touch with our feelings is that when we grew up, our family of origin very well may not have allowed us to feel anything other than what they wanted us to.  So, if we are fortunate, we wake up, so to speak to the knowledge that we are perfect just the way we are.  This means we do not have to worry what others are doing or not doing for us in any given moment.  We no longer have to be concerned that we are loved or not loved by this one or that one because we are love.  Try practicing this small change in your life and let me know what happens at k@bridgingthegaptogether.com
